Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients:
5 cups cooked basmati rice (best if this is leftover cooked rice from the following day
1 tbs turmeric powder
½ cup frozen peas
½ cup diced carrots
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 whole scrambled egg, sliced
Chopped Green onions (optional)
Salt to taste - optional
Cooking Instructions
1. Gently mash the leftover rice using your hands to loosen it.
2. Cooked the scramble egg. Slice and set aside
3. Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan.
4. Once the oil becomes hot, sauté the minced garlic. Put the rice, toss every minute.
5. Put the turmeric, and salt, continue to toss the rice.
6. Put in the green pease, Toss cook for 3-5 minutes Add the carrots.. Cook and continuously toss.
7. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with chopped green onions. (optional)
8. Serve. Share and enjoy!
