Chicken ala King
This recipe is so quick to cook and so creamy and yummy. They can't even wait to devour it while I'm cooking this recipe. The garlic, butter and basil aroma experience really nailed it. 💑 Your family will surely love it. Dive in! 😍💗
Buttered Chicken Mushroom
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken (breast part)
1 can slice mushroom (drain from liquid)
1 head garlic (chopped finely)
1 onion (chopped finely)
1 Pepper (powdered)
1 Knorr Cream of Mushroom (powdered in sachet)
1 cup of milk (you can use powdered milk)
1 Knorr chicken cubes
4 tbsp butter or star margarine in sachet
2 cups water
1 tbsp chopped dried basil leaves
Procedure:
- Pour oil and butter then fry chicken for about 5 mins then add pepper Set aside once partially cook.
- Using the same pan and leftover butter, sautee chopped garlic until slightly brown and add chopped onion until transluscent. Then add sliced mushrooms.
- Add back the chicken. Sautee a few minutes, then add 1 cup of milk. Simmer for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Add chicken cubes until dissolved.
- Dissolved Knorr cream of mushroom powder in 2 cups of water and pour into pan. This should give a creamy thick sauce.
- Add pinch of pepper to taste and dried basil leaves.
